An ingredient platform, not a product line.

Aquila supplies the capture technology, formulation know-how and evidence. You keep your product, channel and customers. PCT is embedded under a direct supply and licensing agreement, not sold off the shelf.

What PCT brings to a product

Broad spectrum
One mechanism targets viruses, bacteria, fungi and biotoxins — in air, on surfaces and in water.
A distinct claim
PCT physically captures and removes pathogens rather than attacking them chemically.
Gentle
Alcohol-free and biocide-free with no toxic residue; suited to skin, mucosa and repeat use.
Format fit
Works in wipes, gels, sprays, rinses, dressings and filters.
No resistance pressure
Physical capture does not drive antimicrobial resistance, and the glycan chemistry is biodegradable.
Track record
Over a decade of R&D, a patented platform, and use in parabolic flight and in the field.

PCT is a use-phase performance ingredient — not a preservative, preservative replacement or biocide.

Who builds with PCT

PCT is a mechanism rather than a category, so it fits across very different industries.

  • Brand owners
  • Contract manufacturers and ODMs
  • Medical and clinical
  • Diagnostics and life science
  • Pharma and drug delivery
  • Defence and CBRN
  • Food, agri and veterinary
  • Filtration and industrial
  • Aviation and space

Four ways to work with Aquila

  1. Licence and supply

You formulate, manufacture and sell under your own brand.

  2. Contract manufacture

    Aquila produces white-labelled finished goods.

  3. Pre-commercialisation R&D

A scoped study before the product is fixed.

  4. Distribution and retail

Introductions to brands already selling PCT-powered products.

Commercial terms are discussed under NDA.

Questions partners ask first

Will we need to change our process?

Usually not. PCT is added at an existing process step, so a feasibility batch is typically quick.

What can we say on pack?

That PCT captures and removes pathogens. Aquila does not support describing it as a biocide.

Is PCT a preservative?

No. It is a use-phase performance ingredient: it works during use, not on the shelf, and it is not a preservative replacement.

What about beneficial flora?

Answered with data. Generating data for new organisms is part of feasibility.

Who owns the IP?

PCT IP stays with Aquila. Partners keep what they build on top of it.

We are a contract manufacturer. Can we offer PCT?

Yes — under licence, to every brand on your line.

Bring PCT into your product or programme.

Tell us your target pathogen, your product format or your field challenge. Thirty minutes with the science team is enough to know whether PCT is the right fit before you commit to anything.
